Keith Rawson at LitReactor published a list of “5 Crime Short Story Writers You Should Be Reading Right Now”—and I was thrilled to see my name at the top of a list that also included Patti Abbott, Christopher Irvin, Glenn Gray, and Liam Sweeny. I was even more thrilled with Rawson’s opening line about my work: “If there’s a Raymond Carver of short crime fiction, Art Taylor would be him—but, you know, without the chain smoking and boozing.”
If there was ever a more blurb-worthy description of me, I haven’t seen it. Definitely passing that one along to my publishers for placement somewhere on the upcoming book.
