Bad Timing (for me) With Bouchercon

As a supposed crime fiction aficionado and critic and even a writer of mystery fiction, it seems like I should have already made my way toward this year’s Bouchercon, just up the street (figuratively speaking) in Baltimore and already underway. But before I had it on my calendar, I made plans to fly to Atlanta for the weekend. Greatly looking forward to a weekend with friends — boarding passes in hand! — but just wish I’d seen the conflict sooner, especially with this world-class mystery convention being so close to home this year.

I’ll be checking in on the action after the fact with critic Sarah Weinman, who promises plenty of posts later, and will touch base in the meantime with bloggers for the Baltimore Sun reporting from the scene itself.
