After an October overbooked with my own panels and presentations (I was fried by the last one), I’m happy to pass the baton to my wife, Tara Laskowski, whose new novel—her fourth!—releases this month. The Cold Read brings with it a flurry (building on the snow theme!) of events for Tara, including travel to Richmond, Philadelphia, and Chicago. You can find her full schedule of appearances on her website, but here’s a quick spotlight of two in our local area:
- Saturday, November 14, 2 p.m.—Local Book Launch Party for The Cold Read, Mackenzie’s Tunes and Tonics, Fairfax, VA, supported by Scrawl Books.
- Tuesday, November 17, 7 p.m.—In conversation with Art Taylor (hey! that’s me!) at Wonderland Books, Bethesda, MD.
