My review of Katherine Neville’s The Fire will be published on Sunday, October 19, in the Washington Post, but through the magic of the Internet, not only is tomorrow now, but apparently the day after tomorrow has arrived as well. Sunday’s review has been posted online today (Friday, October 17) — and I’m glad to talk further off-line about the kinks in Neville’s grand design in this new book, a sequel to her in-many-ways groundbreaking first novel, The Eight.
For another perspective on The Fire: Here’s a recent interview with Neville conducted by Agatha Award-winning (and Northern Virginia-based) author Sandra Parshall, published at Poe’s Deadly Daughters, a blog for mystery lovers.
